Modules
Storm Sewers
Design storm sewers with ease and generate submission-ready design sheets.
Automated sewer design
Just enter ground elevations and let InterHyd assign inverts and pipe sizes to optimize the system. Maintain full control by “locking” values (ex. inverts, sizes, slopes, etc.) and letting InterHyd update everything else based on those constraints.
Customizable design criteria
Specify municipal standards so that InterHyd can create compliant designs. InterHyd checks for errors and immediately informs you if the design does not meet the criteria.
Submission-ready design sheets
Make sure your submission material is always up to date by exporting fully-functional and formatted Excel design sheets with a single click. These design sheets exactly replicate the results seen in InterHyd.
Streamlined CAD interface
InterHyd makes it fast and easy to create and modify sewer systems. Simply click and drag to connect components and watch the design update instantly. Export to AutoCAD when ready.
IDF data
Enter IDF data for any number of storm events, and specify the event used for sizing storm sewers. Easily enter runoff coefficient modifiers where mandated by municipalities.
Quantity control discharge
When paired with the Quantity Control module, InterHyd will automatically size storm sewers downstream of stormwater management facilities based the controlled discharge.

Ensure flow targets are met and generate all the supporting calculations.
Compare multiple scenarios
Create and compare any number of scenarios (ex. pre- and post-development conditions), and see the results (i.e. peak flows, storage volumes, high water levels, etc.) update instantly with every change you make.
Add storage
Add storage components to model storage from ponds, parking lots, roof tops, underground tanks, etc. When paired with the Storm Sewers module, InterHyd will also account for all pipe and structure storage.
Add control devices
Add control devices such as orifices, weirs, or custom rating curves to control discharge rates from the system. Multiple controls can be added (ex. a two-stage orifice outlet), and controls can also be added in series (ex. a roof-top control that discharges into an underground storage system).
Modified Rational Method
InterHyd will calculate the peak flows, storage volumes, high water levels, etc., based on the Modified Rational Method. Several variations are available to meet local standards. InterHyd will inform you if adequate storage is not being met.
