I have been designing stormwater infrastructure for over a decade, but I’ve been consistently disappointed by the software products available to aid in this complex task. General-purpose software like AutoCAD and Excel are industry standards, but they are time-consuming to update and can easily introduce errors. On the other hand, specialized software like PCSWMM and InfoDrainage are very powerful, but they can be cumbersome to use and poorly suited for design work that requires fast iterations and revisions.
I created InterHyd to better suit the needs of design engineers like myself, who must create, revise and validate designs quickly, all while ensuring their plans and design sheets are properly coordinated for submission.
